Skilled Migration to South Australia Interim List Released

The South Australian Government has made it clear that it can wait no longer and has released an interim state sponsorship list. ┬áThe recent federal election and subsequent cabinet reshuffle, which included the appointment of Chris Bowen as the new minister for immigration, have delayed the implementation of the State Migration Plan and the State Sponsored Migration List and this has highlighted South Australia’s job shortage.

The final list may be slightly different, I expect it to be larger, but this interim list is South Australia’s way of saying ‘We need these people now!’

  1. Hi, I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and currently as a Staff Nurse Trainee in a Tertiary Hospital in our city. Can you please advise me on how to work in Australia as a Registered Nurse?,… Thank you…

  2. I was given this site from usit to enquire about state sponsorship options. I am wondering what qualifications are required for early childhood(pre-school)teachers. I currently hold a fetac level 5 in childcare and a fetac level 6 advance certificate in supervision with special needs.I have 6 years experience working with children in pre-school and experience working with children with special needs. I would love to work in Australia so i would be grateful for any information that you give to me.

I have already worked on a one year holiday visa in 2002 so that route isnt an option for me.

    Thank you for your time

    Linda
